What drew you to work for Bitner Henry?
Before coming to Bitner Henry, I worked as a teacher and was ready to do something different. I wanted to help churches and other related ministries, which I now get to do everyday!
What is your favorite part of your job?
As someone new to the insurance world, I enjoy learning and gaining as many skills as possible to help churches and other related ministries in the future.
What would you do if you had a day off and no responsibilities?
I would start out my day by going on a long hike with my Dad – we can hike anywhere from 5 to 20 miles a day. You can find me at a baseball game in the evening, watching my favorite sport on a warm summer night.
What is the best vacation you ever took and why?
I loved visiting the state of Washington with my family. We visited Olympic National Park (now my favorite National park of all time). We saw all the sights and attended a Mariners game against the Orioles – which was fun since I love baseball. We saw so much of the state and even made it up to the Canadian
border!
What advice would you give your younger self?
Stay the course, and don’t lose hope in what you are building. You control your timetable, not anyone else. Embrace who you are and don’t care so much what others think of you.
