
The topic of church security is no longer just a discussion that happens among church board members, or exclusively at mega churches. Church security is now being discussed nationwide. Churches of all sizes are now considering their risks and putting security measures in place. This conversation is an important one for all ministries to have. Church leadership should take the initiative, and put action plans in place on how to deal with security threats such as domestic violence, medical emergencies, disruptive individuals, etc. Having these plans in place could potentially save someone’s life. Security threats can affect your staff, volunteers, congregants, and your property.
