Bitner Henry Insurance Group was selected as a Make More Happen Award winner! This award is presented by Liberty Mutual and SafeCo, and it is given to insurance agencies who go above and beyond to serve in their local community.
Several people at our agency have been closely involved with the local non-profit, Cedar Ridge Children’s Home, for decades. Our former agency president, Harold Henry was one of the founding members of Cedar Ridge, and was instrumental in their ministry. Our agency President, Steve Henry, along with his son Andrew Henry, both serve on the board. A few of our other employees including one of our Customer Service Agents, Pete Swacina, and our Human Resources Manager, Darrin Coon, also serve on the board.
Our long history of serving Cedar Ridge has helped us to be named a Make More Happen Award winner! Winning this award includes being able to present Cedar Ridge Children’s Home with a $5,000 donation for their organization. We were also presented with the opportunity to double that donation to $10,000 if we were able to get their story shared to Facebook 500 times.
That goal was met in just a few days, and now we are excited to announce that Cedar Ridge will get the full $10,000 donation from Liberty Mutual and SafeCo, on Bitner Henry Insurance Group’s behalf.
This donation money will make a huge difference for the kids that Cedar Ridge cares for. This organization not only provides housing for boys in between the ages of 12-17, but also educates them. They give them the tools and teach them the life skills they need to be successful and productive members of society as they enter adulthood!
We are so grateful for our relationship with Cedar Ridge, and we are blessed to have the opportunity to serve them! This donation is going to make a real, tangible difference in these kids’ lives and we are thrilled to have been given this opportunity from Liberty Mutual and SafeCo!
