In years of doing HR teaching and training, I have often said that the best HR professionals are not defined by what they know, but by the information they can find and use to benefit those they serve.
Human Resources is a huge and growing world of recruiting, selecting, compensating, training, evaluating, planning, complying, strategizing, and more. The expanding list of laws that touch HR is staggering, and anyone who has ever led an organization knows that you are only as good as the people who get on board with your mission, vision, and values.
Because of these realities, I like to be on the lookout for great resources and people who can accelerate my learning.
One of the newer resources on my list of helpful resources is HR Ministry Solutions. You can learn more about them at hrministrysolutions.com. They offer a range of HR services and educational courses to simplify HR for churches and ministry organizations. Check out their online resources: toolkits, blogs, webinars, and guides.
