Steve, what did you do before Bitner Henry? What drew you to this profession?

I originally started off in the IT field, then was an associate pastor for a few years. Coincidentally, I use experience from both fields in my current role at Bitner Henry. I was drawn to this job because I enjoy serving others and I like to figure out puzzles – I get to do both every day in my role as a customer service agent.

 

What is your favorite part of your job?

I love serving churches and nonprofits by giving them excellent customer service. This allows the churches to better serve the world around them and carry out their mission.

 

If you had a whole day to yourself without any responsibilities – what would you do?

I’d start off by playing my guitar, then take a walk to a local park with my wife and toddler. I would probably pop into a local bakery or coffee shop and end the day watching reruns of The Office.

 

Where is your favorite place you have ever visited?

The summer after 6th grade my family took a trip to London, England. I loved seeing all the sights and would like to go back one day.
